ORLANDO—APT Manufacturing Solutions was the recipient of the prestigious FANUC Growth Award at the annual FANUC Authorized Integrators Conference. This award is presented to integrators who have grown 150% over the past year.
“The robotics and factory automation industry continues to expand at record levels and we’re proud to be able to help manufacturers step into the future”, says Anthony Nighswander, President of APT. “We’ve worked very hard to be in position to handle this growth and are excited for what lies ahead.”
The company’s development process included a 15,000 square foot building expansion in 2015, the addition of 30 new skilled positions in 2014-2015, and a state-of-the-art Training Center to introduce high school students to manufacturing, as well as introduce recent college graduates to the workforce and train them into effective industry problem solvers.
The growth award, which APT has won once before, represents the dramatic shift that continues to take place in manufacturing, specifically as work continues to “reshore” and a skilled generation of workers enters retirement.
APT Manufacturing Solutions, formerly known as A&P Tool, is a manufacturing company providing industry solutions in machining, factory automation, fabrication, and custom gauging. They are one of the largest automation and machining companies in the region, with just under 125 employees, including mechanical and electrical engineers, robot and PLC programmers, journeyman toolmakers, and certified welders.
