This cart provides a hands-on learning experience for the student to integrate a PLC, robot, and many industrial devices, such as sensors, area scan, & intelligent pneumatic devices. The system comes with your choice of a PBL, and additional PBLs can be purchased. Students will learn to call robot programs from the PLC. They will test I/O, motor operation, safety inputs, and vision.

The Mechatronics Training System provides students with real industrial robotics experience in a compact, mobile platform. Designed for technical education and workforce development programs, the system integrates FANUC robotics with optional Rockwell automation controls to teach core concepts in robotic programming, automation integration, and system troubleshooting.
Students gain practical experience through structured Project‑Based Learning (PBL) activities that simulate real manufacturing tasks.
The Basic Mechatronics Trainer provides a compact robotic training platform designed for foundational robotics education and introductory project‑based learning. The system allows students to learn robotic operation, programming, and automation concepts while maintaining an open workspace around the robot for hands‑on access.

The Advanced Mechatronics Trainer expands the learning experience by integrating a Rockwell PLC and HMI, enabling students to work with complete automation systems similar to those used in industry. The controls are housed in a rear enclosure, while the HMI is conveniently located in a front drawer, allowing students to access automation controls while maintaining close interaction with the robot for hands-on project work. This configuration supports more advanced automation integration and system-level project-based learning.
Same as basic, plus:

PBL-MH-BA1-000-1
Mechatronics Project Based Learning Kit. Material handling and basic automation integration. Foam dice, angled pick/place template, flat pick/place template, conveyor with sensors.
Includes:

PBL-MH-DEM-ICC-I
This operation utilizes a smart color sensor to verify the marker cap color to determine the location in a two color package tray. The marker can also be rejected by being the wrong cap color, or loaded backwards.
Includes:

PBL-MH-EVB-ICC-I
The EV Assembly project-based learning module sits on & integrates with the mechatronics CERT cart creating a very nice teaching tool for the student. On a basic system the student will understand the assembly of batteries for the EV automotive manufacturers today.
Includes:
