Secretary of State Jon Husted Honors APT Manufacturing Solutions

HICKSVILLE – APT Manufacturing Solutions has been selected by Secretary of State Jon Husted as one of January’s featured businesses for the Ohio Business Profile Program. A representative from the Secretary of State’s office visited APT Manufacturing Solutions to present the company with a certificate highlighting this accomplishment. As part of the Ohio Business Profile Program, Secretary Husted declared January as “You’re Hired” month to highlight businesses and organizations with workforce development programs. APT was recognized due to continued commitment to workforce development. In 2015 APT announced a state-of-the-art training center for high school students in partnership with Northwest State Community College, Defiance County, Hicksville Exempted Village Schools, Hicksville Rotary and Central Local School District. Anthony Nighswander, President, declared “We are passionate about Northwest Ohio, our Training Center Program, and developing the next generation of inventors, machinists, builders, engineers, welders, programmers and project managers.”

APT Manufacturing Solutions believes it is imperative that we continue to give back to our community and help it flourish. We are heavily involved in the community around us through various programs. The largest is the APT Training Center. We teach engineering, machining, robotics, safety, and more. Our students qualify for college credit during the year and end up with a fantastic robot project to be proud of.
